{hassle-free heels}

What I'm wearing:
Blouse and jeans from Forever 21,
necklace from Bramble,
earrings (gift),
heels by Sofft from Nora's Shoes
Back to teaching in heels! All of my co-workers were completely shocked that I even bother wearing heels to work, but I swear by these shoes! So comfortable! Sofft is an amazing brand that makes functional heels with insole padding and traction pads on the soles. I was excited to bust out my blue suede shoes!
More amazingly though, I actually made an effort with my hair today! I usually just let it air dry and sometimes run a straightener through the bumpy parts or just let them be. But today, since I'm going to a wedding this weekend, I wanted to test out my hair curling options with the current length. I think its cute, but we'll see what I end up doing. Any opinions?

{¡Viva vibrant!}

Mi hermana, Erika
What I'm wearing:
Skirt from Pitaya,
dress by Lush from Nordstroms,
belt from Anthropologie,
watch by Michael Kors,
& necklace from Francesca's Closet
Hello all! Happy New Year!! Sorry for the short break from posting. I just got back from a wonderful family vacation to Cabo San Lucas, México! While I was there, although I was lucky enough to wear some fun summer outfits, but I didn't get around to taking many blog pictures. I guess it's not a bad problem to have :) Our trip was awesome! Delicious food, surfing, tons of laughter, and warm weather!

In June of last year, both this vibrant red skirt and this striking chartreuse dress were featured in two of my wedding blog posts! While in México, I decided to pair the two together! The fun colors created a flirty dinner outfit with a carmel leather accents. ¡Viva vibrant!

{straight sassy & class}

What Olivia's wearing:
Dress by Topshop from Nordstrom,
boots by Cole Hahn from Goodwill,
rings (gifts),
bangle gift from France,
& necklace from Forever 21
Little Liv looking adorable on Christmas Eve per usual. This girl really knows how to put an outfit together and rock it! I love her fitted Topshop dress with her black ankle boots. Also if you look at the photo of her rings and bangle, check out those nails! Gold with black detailing painted done at home. A combination of patience and a steady hand!

I also posted a picture below of my dad's ring passed down from his great-grandfather who was a member of the Freemasons. I love this ring! While relaxing on the couch at Olivia's, I lined up this awesome shot with a vintage champagne glass and the Freemason ring in the background. So classy!

Freemason ring

{top it off with a bow}

Just a little present for you all. I didn't have much time
to do a full shoot of my outfit, but I think this shot sums it up
nicely. Christmas cheer with green and gold,
topped off with a bow!
Merry Christmas

{Christmas Eve}

What I'm wearing:
Skirt and black top from American Apparel,
broach from Grandma Wavering,
earrings from Grandma Rosenwinkel,
watch by Michael Kors,
& ruby bracelet from Gem.
Despite my obsession with holiday-themed clothing this past month, I decided to go for a more neutral look. Every Christmas eve, my family goes to church and then heads over to my aunt and uncle's for an huge Italian feast with beef tender loin and gnocchi! Such a wonderful annual tradition!

I feel so blessed to have the amazing family and friends that I do. I have shared so much laughter and joyful memories this week being home. The Lord is so faithful and feel extremely blessed that God loves us so much that He sent His son to for us!

{rosey cheeks}

What Heather's wearing:
Floral jeans and green blouse
from Francesca's Closet,
boots from Macy's,
denim button up from J.Crew ,
watch by Le Mer from Urban Outfitters,
headband (handmade by Heather),
& engagement ring from Tyler, her fiancee (antique shop in Estes Park)
Seeing close friends is the best feeling in the world! It fills your heart with joy, your life with laughter, and it makes your cheeks rosey! This weekend two of my dear friends from college, Rachel and Heather, came to visit Colorado. We spent the weekend catching up on new tails of our adventures apart, as well as remembering all of the wonderful memories we made over the years. Such a joyful weekend!
On Sunday, I was lucky enough to snag some pictures of Heather's adorable outfit. She is just so creative with her style. I love the joining of floral jeans and a jean button-up. Although her outfit has many girly aspects, like the rose print and the ruffled top, Heather pulled in jean and brown leather to add some contrast! I love her daring pairing ;)
