I can't believe it has been four years and I'm done with college. Now onto the job searching ;)

{hispter boys}

Jay & Charlie

So tonight we tricked Jay into thinking that we were having a hipster birthday party for Shannon, so he went all out with his flannel and fake glasses. Yet, then he showed up with Charlie, who legitimately was wearing wearing a hipster outfit without even knowing. Oh Charlie :)

{stuff we love, but rarely wear}

After work activities
What I'm wearing:
Dress & flats from Urban Outfitters,
necklace from m. santana, watch from Michael Kors,
rings (gifts from family),

 Heather
What Heather's wearing:
Dress from Old Navy (borrowed from me),
vest from thrift store, flats from Urban Outfitters,
bracelet from Heritage, & necklace from Idaho Springs

After work today, I headed home and changed into a something a little more suitable for the warmer weather. I love the vibrant blue in my Urban dress and the sweetheart neckline. It is a little loose on me, so I haven't worn it very much. I need to alter the straps a little. As for Heather's vest, I'm so glad she found a dress that works well with it. She bought the vest at a funny little basement thrift store in the hippie-town of Nederland, Colorado.

What item do you have in your closet that you love, but need to find a way to wear it?

{hudson flares}

What I'm wearing:
Jeans by Hudson, tank top from Victoria's Secret,
cropped blazer by Flying Tomato, ring from Goldmine Vintage,
earrings (hand-me-down from mom),
heels by Sofft from Nora's Shoe Store
I got these Hudson jeans last summer before I went to Buenos Aires and I was a little nervous about buying a pair of "flare/ bootcut" jeans because I usually wear skinny or cropped pants. I'm glad I got these though because they are the most comfortable jeans ever! Since they are a little darker, I felt fine wearing them to teach in.

{tying things up}

All rockin' the brown belt.
Today I wasn't too keen on my work outfit, so when I got home I changed into something more comfortable (& a little cuter). Turns out my roomies and I think alike and we all decided to go with the brown belts today.

The Annex

Seniors 2012
With the end of college, everything is tying up: student teaching, finals, and the last Annex. Tonight my college church ministry, the Annex, had the last gathering for the year and my last Annex in college. I can't even begin to describe how much of an impact the Annex has had on my life in college and on my faith. From bible studies, service trips, and weekly worship and talks to 80's dance parties & ultimate frisbee teams, the Annex has provided me with so many joyful memories. I wouldn't be the woman I am today if it wasn't for the community I found at the Annex!
