As a Spanish teacher, you have to take advantage of the
fun cultural celebrations and beautiful traditions practiced
all over the Spanish-speaking world.
Last week on November 1st & 2nd, my classes celebrated
Dia de los muertos, a holiday that remembers family
members who have passed away by celebrating the life they lived!
In honor of this holiday my classes made calavera (skull)
masks and rocks! I decided to go all out and paint my face like
a calavera sugar skull.
| What I'm wearing: Makeup done by me, blouse from Charolette Russe, skirt from Argentina, cardigan by Olive & Oak, watch by Michael Kors, necklace from my grandma, mariachi earrings from Mi Casa Restuarante |
