{patterned tights}

What I'm Wearing:
Cardigan from Target,
blouse from Banana Republic,
skirt & tights from Forever 21,
boots by Boemos from TjMaxx,
& watch by Michael Kors
For this outfit, I paired a fun patterned pair of tights with some solid colors on top. I wanted to not have other patterns challenging my tights, so I went to black and white with a golden rod accent.

{Irish Delegate}

What I'm Wearing:
Blazer from H&M,
skirt from Forever 21,
banner from a costume store :)
flats by Tori Burch
watch by Michael Kors
On Sunday, I went all out and wore the Irish flag head to toe. I completed the "lucky"look with my "gold coin" Tori Burch flats. While walking around downtown, a few people asked me if I won something because of my banner. I was tempted to say the "Miss Irish America" pageant. Another friend of mine joked asking if I was the Irish Delegate. Nice! I love going all out for holidays, even if I am barely Irish! Hope you all had a fun and joyful St. Patrick's day!

{St. Patrick's Weekend}

Although I am only a 1/16 Irish, St. Patrick's celebrations
are always a weekend long affair. With cooking
corned beef and cabbage, wearing green daily, and
enjoying spring time, you need more than just a day.
So here is a picture from my Friday St. Patty's outfit for
the Irish Feast I hosted with my roommate!
Cheers!

I've had this bow since I was in kindergarden

{boycotting winter}

What I'm wearing:
Cardigan from J.Crew,
tanks from Forever 21 & Hinged ,
skirt & tights from Target,
bracelet (gift),
necklace from Gem,
heels by Dansko,
Recently I have been extremely done with winter. All I want to do is boycott it! The other day I wore oxfords with rolled up jeans while it was snowing in order to boycott winter! I want to wear skirts with no tights and no boots, so today I was part of the way there.  The color combo in this outfit is definitely screaming spring with my magenta tank top and floral skirt borrowed from my roommate. I wasn't able to ditch the tights quite yet, but soon my friends, soon!

{kiss me, kate}

What I'm Wearing:
Cardigan from Target,
tank and skirt from Forever 21,
flats from Target,
broach from Grandma Wavering,
& watch by Michael Kors
This weekend my high school is presenting the play "Kiss Me, Kate" and after seeing the opening show on Thursday night I was inspired to change up my black and gold Friday outfit. The girls' costumes were so cute with their 1940s style curls and tea length skirts! I love that time era. It makes me want to swing dance! As for my outfit, I tucked in my gold cardigan to this cute tea length skirt and pinned it all together with my grandma's cameo broach! Spring time means more dressed and skirts like this one. Yay!

{snow leopard}

What I'm wearing:
Blazer by Silence + Noise from Urban Outfitters,
blouse by h.i.p. from Marshalls,
pants from Target, boots from H&M,
ruby necklace by Judy Brandon Jewelry,
tourmaline necklace from Gem (gift),
& earrings from Grandma Rosenwinkel

Other than my velvet Scary Spice costume from when I was 10 years old, I can't remember ever owning anything leopard print. Yet, the other day when I was sifting through the racks at TjMaxx, I found this loose fitting leopard tank with a mustard yellow trim that was a complete baragain. I was intrigued by the thought of me wearing leopard something because I have always associated the pattern with divas or my grandma :) Turns out I caved and bought it with hopes of wearing it in an unconventional way. Here is my "unconventional leopard attempt #1:" wearing it with a heather grey blazer that challenges the power of the print. The blazer tones down the bold leopard pattern and is a change from pairing leopard with black or pink. Any ideas for what I should try next in my "unconventional leopard" series?

{spring-time teaser}

What I'm wearing:
Shirt by Frenchi from Nordstroms,
scarf from Goodwill (gift),
skirt from Forever 21,
leather jacket by Michael Kors from Nordstroms Rack,
flats from Urban Outfitters,
watch by Michael Kors,
watch vintage (gift),
& earrings from Grandma Rosenwinkel
This weekend the weather was so lovely! I had to bust out some type of spring-time gear, so I went for my long black skirt and my leather flats. Although the morning started off beautifully by 6pm I regretted my decision to wear this skirt. Oh well! It was nice and I am psyched for springtime. Skirts, dresses, flats, and no winter coats! To create some contrast in my outfit, I paired this black skirt with a sky blue top and a mustard infinity scarf. As always, I am wearing my Michael Kors watch, but today I layered it with another gold bracelet/watch. I love the way the two build on each other!
